Miss K ~Senior

Baby J ~Newborn

This little one was one of my first newborns.  I have to say, looking back on these first sessions they are pretty good!  She really liked being on her tummy.  Her mommy brought the cute owl hat and pink tutu set!

Wedding

When I first started my photography business I was looking for a wedding to photograph so I could get some experience.  A friend of mine connected me with this couple and they let me come and be a second shooter at their wedding.  I remember being so nervous but trying to play it cool!  You'll notice there are no pictures of the groomsmen and that's because when I walked into where they were, the main photographer was in there and I felt like I was imposing so I just stayed where the ladies were.  Then during the ceremony it started raining and I was not ready for that at all so I stayed back under a canopy.  I had a previous engagement too so I had to leave early and didn't get all the cake shots and what not, but as I look through these pictures now, I don't think they're half bad, especially with it being my first time!  As you go through you'll notice that I was "angle" happy!!  So glad I moved past that phase!

That awkward moment when someone's behind ruins the picture!

Miss L ~Grunge Session

When I first started my photography business I needed models to help build my portfolio and thankfully a friend from high school was able to make it down from Denver and help me out!  Lindsey was stoked when she heard I wanted to do a grunge session and she was the perfect model!  You would think she's a professional model, wouldn't you?!  It was so much fun to hang out and get these amazing pictures!  I had so many favorites, here are just a few.

Miss K ~Senior

On my way to meet this senior and her mom I was driving my mother's van because we were down to one car at the time.  I get to the area that I'm going to park in and I hear a very loud noise and people staring my way so I stopped and got out to see what had happened...and lo and behold my mom's gas tank was on the ground!  So here I was in the middle of the intersection with a gas tank dragging on the ground and a senior session that's supposed to be starting in 10 minutes.  Thank the Lord for good husbands that keep you calm in a moment of panic!  So after my husband got there I was able to go on with this sweet young lady's session.  That little piece of terror couldn't have happened on a better session, not every client would be as understanding as to why I was 10 minutes late for their session!  Of course, I think it helped that they saw it :)  but they were so kind about the whole thing and were even going to give me a ride home...until I got a text from my hubby asking if I was almost done because he was waiting for me!  Love that man!   Here are a few of Miss K's sneak peeks.  Isn't she gorgeous?!

Miss T ~Maternity

Loved this maternity session, it's always easy when the client is drop dead gorgeous!!  You can hardly tell she's pregnant!  One of those ladies that just glows!!

Baby I ~Newborn

I got to photograph a newborn from our church!  His nursery has a Dr. Seuss theme and who doesn't have Dr. Seuss books laying around their house?  Little secret...the book in the middle is not a Dr. Seuss book but the title went so well with the picture we were trying to get!  His mommy brought the cute hat!

I had been dying to get a mommy and baby picture, but it seemed like all of the moms I had lately weren't feeling photogenic so when Baby I's mom said she'd like some with him you can imagine my thrill!!  It turned out so perfect!

Thank you for your service!

Baby M ~Newborn

This little sweetheart just loved sleeping on her back!  Mommy bought the Yankees hat from my hat store, Heavenly Halos (http://www.facebook.com/?ref=tn_tnmn#!/JennysHeavenlyHalos) for her newborn session.
